Mr Alawi completed his LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree with honours in 1996 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Al-Ahliyya Amman. He has more than two decades of experience in corporate commercial, power, mining, real estate development, investment, facility management, media, IPO, mergers and acquisitions and dispute resolution (conciliation, arbitration and litigation). .

Previously, Mr. Alawi worked as legal consultant, senior legal consultant and legal manager for some of the leading companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including GCCIA, KHHC, DBG, ALJ, BHC and RIL.

Mr. Alawi currently heads the litigation practice of Al Khalid & Associates Legal Services .
